In this podcast we take a look at the man behind the first English Bible and the fierce opposition he encountered in attempting to translate it into the common man's tongue.

It’s amazing to think that the Bible was confined to only a few people for a long time in history. This message impresses me how much we owe to those who have laboured with God before us, and how privileged we are today with such access to the Bible – the will of God revealed in plain words. May we count the opportunity to read God’s word today not as a common thing, but something so precious and sacred; so that like Job, we can say: “I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my apportioned food.” (Job 23:12)
